Here are some real Christian Values:

Minister charged with assault

By GLENN E. RICE
The Kansas City Star
A youth minister is charged with knocking a teenager down and kicking him in the groin when a dodgeball game allegedly turned ugly in Clay County.

David M. Boudreaux, 27, of Excelsior Springs was charged Wednesday in Clay County Circuit Court with third-degree assault.

According to court records, a 16-year-old Lathrop, Mo., boy was playing dodge ball at Crescent Lake Christian Academy in February when he threw a ball at Boudreaux and missed. The boy connected with his next shot, which knocked off Boudreaux’s glasses, court records said.

The boy apologized, but Boudreaux pushed him backward and tripped him, authorities said. When the boy rose and said he was sorry again, Boudreaux picked up his glasses, kicked the boy in the groin and left, according to court records. The boy suffered post-concussion syndrome, whiplash and blood in urine caused by the kick, according to court records.

And if you can't beat them into submission than scare them to death with the prospect of burning for ever and ever in the fires of hell and damnation.

no they are not Christian values
just because the guy is obstensibly a Christian, doesn't mean that people always live up to their values.

3. True, but consider

If the groin-kicker were atheist, and if this incident had occurred at some "Atheist Academy" instead of a Christian Academy, the media would be all over the "atheist angle." In addition, fundies would take it as proof that atheists are violent and unprincipled louts with no values.

It is correct to recall that this asshole isn't representative of all Christians, but it's not incorrect to point out that he's a Minister and supposedly an ordained representative of the church.

4. Blood in his urine? That was one hell of a kick
and I sincerely hope the kid's parents sue.

In any case, this bastard needs to suffer the full force of the justice system, anger management treatment being a big part of what the courts decide to do with him.

This is unacceptable behavior for two teenagers. For a minister to do this is outrageous. He needs to consider a different line of work.

5. He apologized after being tripped?
He should have stood up and punched the asshole in the face. Boudreaux needs to have his ass fired, kick someone in the nuts hard enough to have blood in the urine because the kid played the game he was supposed to play.

If I was the kids father I'd be waiting for Mr. Boudreax by his car, if he didn't come out, I'd be waiting the next day by what was left of his car.

Christian academy my ass, I don't know when I became so cynical but I really can't stand religion at all anymore. I used to believe that most Christians actually followed the teachings of the bible but over the last decade or so I'm finding it hard to believe that any of the church leaderships actually give a shit what Christ was about.
