Peace Action Releases New Congressional Voting Record
SILVER SPRING, April 3 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Peace Action today released a new Congressional Voting Record.

"Never has it been as important for U.S. citizens to hold their representatives in Congress accountable on issues of war and peace as it has since George W. Bush launched his war against Iraq. Peace Action Education Fund's (PAEF) annual Congressional voting record is the tool every citizen needs to discern where their Representatives in the House and Senate have come down on legislation related to bringing about peace," said Kevin Martin Executive Director of Peace Action Education Fund.

In this year's PAEF's voting record, 27 House members (listed below) who earned a 100 percent rating. No members of the Senate earned 100 percent. That is because the Senate voted 99-0 in favor of the $82 billion supplemental appropriation for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. However, six senators did earn an honorable mention on this year's voting record (also listed below).

1. Not one member from Maryland!
I'm appalled but not surprised. Even though Maryland is a heavily blue state, our Dem party is too old, entrenched and middle-of-the-road. Maryland Dem officials need to wake up.
