Delay must think that House maj. leader is more important than President.
His claim that "majority leader is TOO important a job to be "hamstrung" with personal distarctions" is so amazing.

The Paula Jones TRIAL and the continuing witch hunt of other "scandals" were deemed to be of little, if any "importance" to a sitting, elected president, but little Tommy wants to use the opposite excuse to cover his hiney..

The hypocrisy is so blatant, I am literally amazed daily with their proclamations:)

1. Amazing what a few short years have done to the "MORAL" views
in this country.
What once was seen as a terrible crime in this country "Lying" has become no big deal to the spinsters.

5. I figure the Repukelickers defend their PROPRIETARY interest in lying.
That's why they object when others do it. They have the entitlement, right? :eyes:

2. That's just an attempt at face-saving for the Kool-Aid Kids.
I have a feeling Hot Tub got a phone call from someone in the White House who whispered sweet nothings in his ear.

That, or he found out about Duke wearing a wire ... and remembered a few .. ahem .. conversations.

That little faux campaign rally yesterday was so pathetic that I can't believe even Tom DeLay would have the ego for that one. He's certainly not overestimating the ignorance of his "followers".

3. He needs to get over himself.
The "majority leader is too important a job to be" entrusted to a corrupt sleazeball like Hot-Tub Tommy. What gets me is the smug sense of entitlement and self-importance these pompous blowhards have.

4. Maybe in prison
someone will play back to him all the hypocritical things he's said. Wouldn't that be a great punishment 24/7 a tape playing with all of his ridiculous statements? I'd help pay for it.
