I love LaRosa's pizza, the CSO is terrific, and that view from Mt. Adams...

But then there's Jean Schmidt and the fools who arrested Dennis Barrie, the miserable and cowardly ENQUIRER, WLW Radio and its line-up of dangerous kooks, and on and on and on.

God save Cincinnati.

We almost got him in 2000 and 2004... maybe by '08 we'll get it right. And please don't forget that Jean Schmidt narrowly won her seat over Paul Hackett, in the historically ultra-conservative OH-2.

I think that they broadcast Shultz during Randi's AAR time slot. I can only hear the station after dark. They carry somne but not all AAR programs. They have really intereseting local programs including a rather whacky scientology show! :eyes: Something for everyone, I suppose!

the only reason people should give an ovation to Bush is when he leaves the room. Check the "response to" field, or whatever it's called.

And good luck to our Cubbies this year.

19. Rumor had it that a tape of cheering was played to cover any boos
when he threw out the ball at previous opening day.

The Cincinatti Reds (short for Red Stockings) have played the first game of the season before the rest of the league before because they were America's very first professional baseball team. I was surprised to hear that Chicago played yesterday. I thought maybe it was because they were last year's champs--now I know better.

P.S. When Jon Stewart announced that Rick Santorum would be the guest on the next Daily Show, the audience groaned--not booed, GROANED!

Possibly that was as nauseating as the Bosox/Rangers game I'm watching at the moment, but nothing brings back horrible memories of the '04 election like watching the big-butted Schilling on the mound.

I'll never forget his gleeful spouting off about voting for Bush after they won the series. I don't like either team but I wish the Rangers would just light him up. Jackass.
