BEAUTIFUL MIND ALERT: Nine U.S. Troops Killed in Weekend in Iraq
Edited on Mon Apr-03-06 02:04 PM by Bluebear

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Four American troops were killed by hostile fire, while five others died and three were missing after their truck rolled over in a flash flood this weekend in separate incidents in western
Iraq, the military said Monday.

In violence targeting Iraqis, a suicide truck bomb exploded Monday near a Shiite mosque in northeastern Baghdad as worshippers were leaving after evening prayers, killing at least 10 people and wounding 30, police said.

The U.S. military said it was "using all the resources available" to find the two Marines and a sailor who were missing after Sunday's accident, which occurred near the Asad air base in Anbar, near the Syrian border. Five Marines were killed and one was injured when the seven-ton U.S. military truck rolled over in a flash food. The military said it appeared to be an accident and "not a result of enemy action."

Three Marines and one sailor also were killed by hostile fire elsewhere in the volatile province, the military said Monday, the largest number of American deaths in a single attack in more than a month.

3. uh, look here mr. unpatriotic, but I'll have you know that those men
all volunteered. and I'll also have you know that is less men then we lost in vietnam on that same date in 1968. and I'll also have you know that out of 150000 soldiers that 9 lost young men and women only makes up 0.00006 of the total number there.

instead of whining about those 9 you should celebrate the other 149,991 that were out building schools. Gosh what's wrong with you DU'ers. I'm going back to Free Republic now, but you can thank me later.

:~)

7. It's just the media covering up the "Good News".
The good news being that an Iraqi citizen named Ahmed Akbar said that, "The American occupation of Iraq is good for the Iraqi people." Doctors in attendance said that Mr. Akbar may soon be released from his straitjacket as soon as he stops drooling uncontrollably and claiming to be named Dubya.
