The not so unspoken basis for Leslie's questioning seemed to me is the idea that black women look so much alike they can't be recognized if they change their hairstyles.

With CNN putting up the before and after pics....and Wolfie's line of questioning...let's just say I suspect they wouldn't have pursued that line of questioning so much if such an incident had happened with Kay Bailey Hutchison three months after a change of hairstyle.
