1. no it isn't
unless people are directly affected they don't give a damn

In fact, very little come out from those that are affected

Unfortunately, there will need to be a lot more pain before our direction is reversed

I have little doubt the USA has killed over 200,000 innocent Iraqi civilians by now.

But saddam was a bad, bad man. fuck. :(

3. freepers tell me "ya know 50,000 died in Vietnam"
so,they must feel 2200 is meaningless. Stupid people those freeps. Why are gop-ers so easily fooled by bushturd. Why the blind loyalty?

5. Actually the official figure is 60000 plus
and it took 10 years to acheive that

In addition, the freeps don't include the 15000+ Americans that have been wounded, many seriously. Also, what about the 100000 plus civillians that had nothing to do with this?

If they believe that 2200 is meaningless, then why don't they contribute their meaningless lifes to the cause?

20. I tell these freeps to rush on down to the recruiters office
they say,I'm too old.. ROTF. Their scared little sheep willing to give away our liberty to be SAFE. What bull
shit. Nevertheless,I keep pounding them with truths. They forever insult me but I continue to persevere. I tell them they could end this war if they joined the dems and demanded an end. But no, not these fake scared
americans.
I used 50,000 as a general number. Thanks for the feedback !!

12. That is the most absurd 'reason' ever. We're not up to
50,000+ yet, so it's no big deal? They make me want to scream!

14. that talking point shows you how sick and unfeeling freepers are
to compare the amount killed in THIS senseless war to the amount killed in THAT senseless war? It is OBSCENE.

22. Its not just Vietnam they throw in my face
WW II is mentioned. But at least we knew who we were fighting. Whether or not FDR influenced Japan to attack
Pearl Harbor, WWII was a just war. Unlike this unholy mess in Iraq.

6. Sadly, it will take thousands more.
My only prayer is that by the time of the 2006 elections a change will take place in the congressional composition and by 2008, sanity will rule in congress, the senate and the executive branch. However, I have little faith that the vote-fixing/stealing that took place in 2000 and 2004 will be done away with and that we have an even chance of fair elections. Otherwise, we are quite simply doomed.

Sorry. I just can't envision any positive outcome to our country's dilemma at this moment. Maybe it's the Merlot. My sincere apologies and expressions of abject sympathy go to those who have and who will lose their lives in Iraq, and to their survivors. May they find some peace. May Bush and his minions get the punishment they so richly deserve.

Blessings and let hope spring eternal.

13. where are the zeros
a real warrior country does not flinch in war until the count is over 100,000.
A macho man country does not flinch until its a million
An extinct species does not flinch until its a billion.

Where are those zeros, its just a matter of time.

17. I once asked a now ex-friend: How high do the bodies have to pile before
it's ok to question the war?

We haven't spoken much since then. I think that was the same night I told him that if we wanted war with Iraq so much, he should take is 22 year old ass down the recruiters office and serve his country for a war, he feels is the right thing to do.

19. Those freeps that
pathetically tripe about how 50,000 were killed in Viet Nam so 2,200 is no big deal should be reminded that only

13 miners were trapped before found dead. And they dominated the news for THREE SOLID DAYS!!!!
