I Just voted to bring the troops home--NOW |
|
Wisconsin has 30 communities which are voting today on a referendum calling on our government to bring the troops home from Iraq--now. Of course if it passes, it will have no effect, certainly no effect on the chimp who claims to be the president of the United States. But as a way of expressing the will of the people it is a great moral tool. I live and voted in Madison and my precient was (I was told by one of the election workers) way ahead of the usual turnout for a spring election and my guess is that Madison (I can't speak for the other communities in Wisconsin) will vote overwhelmingly to bring our troops home.

I wish it was. I'll be paying close attention to the results of this though.
