2. Bremer is on there to promote Bremer. There will be no accountability |
|
or intelligence (or truth about where all the millions went) to be had from any interview with Bremer. Time would be better spent doing just about anything else. Unless you enjoy being lied to.

Cheny and Rummy. Whether he is being truthful, it is nice to see yet another one go against the grain.

4. Thanks, Maestro. Do you think his revelations |
|
might tarnish his medal a bit? I'm very glad he's speaking out. Kind of put the lie to what dimson said about heeding all advice he got, RE: Iraq. :eyes:

8. I doubt it. I don't think Bremer is extremely remorseful, but |
|
it is interesting what he is saying especially about the force that was sent to Iraq was basically ineffective and that the intelligence was only concerned with WMDs. I can't believe he said that they (the Neocon leaders) really didn't think there would be a big insurgency although he ends by saying that the invasion was necessary. :eyes: Why, Bremer, why?

17. And Brian Williams, what a total dirtbag apologist. |
|
Bremer said something like "well war is bad, but that doesn't make it wrong", and old Williams just let it stand. Well what would make it wrong? I guess it's never wrong to go to war. Yup, that's right, isn't it Brian, you dumbass. And not one question about the 9 billion dollars that Bremer can't remember who he gave it to. It was only 9 billion. So it's missing. Get over it.
I despise Williams, that shallow bastard. Saw him on a show once with all the anchors discussing the "media bias" crap. He piped up near the end and said he wasn't biased and he could prove it because his hate mail was 50-50, right down the middle. Then he grinned at how superior he was. Not that the truth has anything to do with being a reporter, just keep the correct people fooled with the propaganda. That's what it's all about for him. What a dirtbag..

I knew. I even wrote it somewhere, maybe here, that the easy part would be getting rid of Saddam, because that's when the jockeying for power would begin, and the winner would be the one who got rid of the Americans.
How come I knew and they had no idea such a thing would happen????

9. Bremer's up to his ass in this cabal. He knows where bodies are buried. |
|
I don't buy this crap 'we didn't anticipate an insugency'. C'mon. Armies look at all stategies and possibilities. They chose to ignore the obvious.

12. -His Successor IN Iraq-Negroponte-helped create the death squads |
|
Perhaps a united Iraq state is not the real intention after all when you hear the lackey Bremmer admit to such an egregious mistake.
You don't have to be in the Joint Chiefs to figure it is a numbers game- because you can't occupy a California size country, with 20 million people with the amount of troops and expect security.
The US should have invaded Grenada or Panama again--cause then you have the numbers- but hardly the right.
BRemmer may have not had a clue but his successor John Negroponte certainly did. Mr Negroponte had a successful career in Honduras during the Reagan administration, as ambassador to Honduras he personally was involved with the Death Squads of El Salvador, which was an effective tool to destabilize the population. Under his tenure in Iraq, death squads militias connected to the Interior Ministry set the prelude to a possible if not on-going civil war, after dismantling the army, under Bremmers leadership These ethnic deathsquad militias answer to the shady politicians such as Allawi and Mr Chalabi instead of the government. The Pentagon armed , funded, and trained some of them and exerts influence on these shady politicians as well as the ex Baathist elements that have been incorporated via Allawi. ----one of them-was CIA connected when Saddam was in charge.
It would seen that the superficial appearances of "liberation" and "democracy-give way to ulterior motives of sectarian division.
Either it's contrived or complete ineptness!-what you think?
