Dems Have Got To Kill Alito's Confirmation
If they do not, those Dems must all be replaced. I don't want to hear about ethics or political maneuvering... FILIBUSTER... do what it takes to stop this nazi nutbag from taking over the Supreme Court.

4. The #s aren't there
Tim Johnson, Ben Nelson, Bill Nelson, Kent Conrad, Blanche Lincoln, Byron Dorgan. All will oppose a filibuster.

It's just not going to happen.

11. Doesn't matter if the numbers aren't there. The message has to be there!
Democrat politicians have got to show that they do NOT agree with this disgusting man. They need to stop selling out.

5. this time they don't even have the excuse
that going against an (allegedly) hugely popular president would be political suicide.
It's do or die time for the dems.

12. well, I'm sure they'll come up with some excuse.
They're always waiting until "next time" or "until something really important comes up".

6. They'll want to save the filibuster for something "important".
Like a cut in senatorial perks.

8. It isn't that this guy would vote
to overturn RvW (he would), it's that he's a fascism enabler.

They could have found someone who fit the former without the latter.

10. Alito is a chief architect of Bush's "divine rights" rulings, i.e.
that he doesn't have to obey any laws that he deems are not in the best interest of public safety.

13. If they want to save a democratic republic, they'd better.
Alito is ALL FOR FURTHER EXPANDING EXECUTIVE POWERS,...as if these assholes haven't carried that dictatorial ideology far enough.

Choose: corporacratic dictatorship or democratic republic (eg fascism or "democracy").

This is serious BUSINESS, people. This pResident gets any more power and we can kiss two and a half centuries of progress :hi: cause these self-proclaimed "benevolents" will NEVER let go of power,...ever.
