I'd say they rank her right up there with Dan Rather. I'm puzzled by some of the posts here that call her a right wing whore. Myself, I think she is more of the vapid sorority girl type: attractive without a of substance, which will fit with the corporate media very well. i don't take her seriously. I've actually been pleasantly surprised by Brian Williams over at NBC.

Both her and Lauer have NOT been Dem friendly, but that aside, she's pretty insipid.

I used to watch the Today Show religiously -- it was on every morning as I was growing up -- & I can tell you that she is very supportive of Republicans.

Don't let her move to CBS fool you. I suspect that, being a single parent with 2 daughters, she's looking for better hours than having to wake up at 3 in the morning.

Will her rightwing favoritism affect CBS? I don't know. I'll have to wait for canofun or crooks&liars videos to find out. I'm not watching CBS News anymore.

18. Anyone see Lauers interview with Michael Schaivo?

Schaivo came across as sincere and thoughtful. Lauer was doing his level best to portray him as selfserving with such zingers as:

"C'mon, could'nt you have let him (Terry Schaivos brother) into the room one last time?"

"Boy thinking back to when I was 21 I can't imagine making a statement like that."
(Referring to Terry telling Michael that she never wanted to be kept alive on life support.)

I truly hate these corporate whores who have invented infotainment.
