U.S. Official Is Arrested

MIAMI, April 4 (AP) — The deputy press secretary for the Department of Homeland Security was arrested on Tuesday and accused of using the Internet to seduce someone he thought was a teenage girl, the authorities said.

According to the sheriff's office in Polk County, Fla., where the charges were issued, the official, Brian J. Doyle, 55, of Silver Spring, Md., had a sexually explicit conversation with a person he believed was a 14-year-old girl whose profile he had seen on the Internet. In reality, the sheriff's office said, Mr. Doyle was talking with an undercover sheriff's detective.

Wow, not only crooks and liars, but pervs too!

1. Cumulative Effect
On the heels of the White House shoplifter, this is rather amusing, eh?

These guys have been bullying us for six years. Finally . . . FINALLY! We're coming to our senses as a body politic, and the bugs are in a frenzy trying to get out from under their rocks.

The story was disgusting. This clown probably cruised chicks at the local high school by flashing his Homeland Security badge. Being a guy, I can only imagine. But my daughter tells me stories. . .

What a worm. By his fruits shall ye know him.

4. Huh...???
This clown probably cruised chicks at the local high school by flashing his Homeland Security badge.

Does anyone seriously think that would work? "Hey, baby, I'm a Homeland Security agent..."

I think that would get teenage girls (or any other reasonably sentient female) more likely to laugh in the guy's face than anything else.

3. Republicans are corrupt, out of control, sick semi--humans-
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 03:15 AM by Zorra
what in the world is wrong with these people?

If someone on the street said to me "I'm a republican", I'd gather up the kids and reach for the pepper spray, and back away slow until I got to the other side of the street.

Republicans are sick in the head, and I strongly advise anyone to keep their children as far away from these nutjobs as possible.

WTF is wrong with this sick group of people that are republicans?

YUCK!

5. You just made me laugh, and it is not a subject to laugh about.
One thing I have learned in life is to be very iffie of any one who keeps telling you how good they are. Always watch what they do and not what they say. Some of these sweet guys in gov. would have us all dragging cotton sacks through the fields once more, and being nice family people send the dogs after us if we sat down to rest. Having come from a GOP family of the old style that just wanted lower taxes, no wars, and every one out of their business I must say that is is a really strange party in power.

6. I'd like to add another angle to this story...
Just what does it say about the average level of intelligence found at the Vaterland Security Department that one of its employees actually thought that a 14-year-old girl allegedly looking for action on the Internet was really a 14-year-old girl looking for action on the Internet?

What if the next "hot, sexy teen" had turned out to be an al-Qaeda agent? One who could try to coax information out of said Vaterland Security employee, or gone on to blackmail him into helping them? I mean, if it is supposedly still too "risky" to have gays as translators because they could be blackmailed, what do you think could be done with a pedophile caught red-handed by the terraists?

7. and as a member of the DHS, he probably had access to
all kinds of information regarding internet accounts, telephone numbers, census stats on who was living in the house...just anything. Even as just a deputy press secretary...it's scary to know that sick fuck was just a keyboard entry away from knowing the location of every 14 year old girl in his area.

Yeah, he got caught in a sting (this time) - but what else has he done? We don't know that he hasn't used his DHS credentials to obtain info on young girls in his area.
