My email to the morning news re:Unions
So we are having a public transportation strike here in Denver. One of the local morning news TV programs is asking people if Unions are good for us or not. They've mainly read emails from people that dislike Unions. So here was my email:

Individuals that are anti-union should be allowed to opt out of unionized America. They then can quietly (and with all the same fervor that they scream about how unions "ruin America") work 7 day work weeks, 16 hours a day, next to an eight year old, in third world country conditions...all for a buck a day. No vacations, no weekends, no benefits. If they want it so bad, I say let them have it. Then see if they're still complaining about unions.

XXX
Denver

Hopefully they'll read it on air.

4. Darn...I wish I had added the following:
With enough anti-Union Americans willing to opt-out, I believe this plan would solve the issue with out-sourcing.

5. People forget that they have, though the course of History, benefitted
from Unions! they think they are pulling themselves up by their own hard work and many are--but the safegards in place were put there because of Unions!

6. Great response.
Far too many people have fallen for the corporate propaganda against unions. If the corporatists succeed in destroying them, we'll be right back to the Gilded Age.

8. Well if your here in Denver...
they just said they would read the next round of emails at 7:55.

I'm embarrassed to say it...but channel 13 (local FOX). Before you flame me...just woke up, flipping through channels, heard them reading anti Union emails, and HAD to respond.
