This is Tulsa, OK people. About as Red as you can get. A clean vote and it will be a landslide come November.
Watch an all out from now to the elections blitz on the dems .... "they want to impeach"

2. Remember, it's red, but it's a city.
Can the Goopers carry ANY city these days, unless they're running as "liberal" Republicans a la Mikey Bloomberg?

3. The repug, LaFortune
during the final stages of campaigning began waving the flag of "conservative values" "pro life" "low taxes." Clearly desperate to bring in these issues of which the frickin mayor has little impact. The winner, Taylor, clearly and calmly stated why such partisan diatribes are not of importance in this type of race. It sure didnt' help LaFortune, who with a personal fortune and big name tulsa heritage clearly foundered in the latter stages of his term. He tried to cheap shot taylor in one debate about sending jobs offshore and she hammered him for a grand slam regarding her company's brining 600 jobs to tulsa with average compensation of >$60K/year. Though close, tulsa once again has chosen a democratice woman to lead them, following in the heritage of Susan Savage, an immensely popular mayor in the 90s.

4. Thank you very much for the info.
I have been in Tulsa once about 20 years ago and it struck me as a very
right wing town w/ more churches per capita then anywhere else. I find the
fact that a Democratic Women won there as really big news.

Give us a clean vote and we sweep the nation in a landslide this fall. People
are sick of bush and company.
