Phrases or words I just can NOT stand anymore.
War on anything-----

War on terror ESPECIALLY ! God I can't stand it anymore. 24 hours a day, never ending around the clock. And then: war on drugs, war on crime, war on inflation, war on prostitution, war on assault weapons, war on poverty, and now pu-lease...war on Christmas.

I got a novel idea. How about a war on war!!

Up to my eyeballs with these too.

* partisan politics...Oh brother, do we hear that one enough?

* issues...talk about the issues, doesn't have ideas on the issues, I want to hear his position on the issues.

* rhetoric...pure rhetoric, just rhetoric, rhetoric rhetoric. Even worse, partisan rhetoric. Must be said a billion times a year.

* change... We're for change, time for a change, we're the party of change, voters want a change, policies of change.

* new direction... You can probably see it coming......direction for change. Afl-a-a-acc... quack quack quack.

* american people... Not being straight with the american people, the american people understand that (McClellan ad infinitum), doing what the american people want, level with the american people, working for the american people. For God's sake, find a new way to describe us.

* left, right, right, left, rightwing, leftwing... Knock it off! It's Bush hater or Bush lover.

* demagogue... Blah blah blah he's a demagogue, that's pure demagoguery, or any other Novak non stop form of it. Stop it. Most people don't even know what it means.

I'm just getting started....JOIN IN !

2. 'the Enemy'
How many times has bush talked about 'our Enemies', always sowing fear, fear and more fear
I expect this is how hitler kept the populace in line.

and justified his criminal actions, because the focus is always on the ENEMY

17. Anything with "tradition" in it........
like "traditional values" etc. Who the fuck decides what's "traditional"? Is there a "board of tradition" somewhere that decides what are the "traditional values" we all seem to hold so near and dear?

It's a code word for, "we're terrified of the future, let's turn back the clock to the 19th century".

Tradition....the Valium of the fearful.

19. "Resolve"
As in, "The folks who conducted to act on our country on September 11th made a big mistake. They underestimated America. They underestimated our resolve, our determination, our love for freedom. .."

I haven't heard the idiot use the word lately, but for awhile there I was SO sick of hearing it...
