9. I don't speak for GOD ALMIGHTY
but can he be anything but saddened/angered by these right wing nutjobs???

I suppose I should feel concern for Dick...

then I think of what he's done to over 2100 American soldiers and tens of thousands of Iraqis and I think...

I could really care LESS, it's up to God.

8. probably something about having a lesbian daughter
but they probably wont complain just like they didn't when Alan Keyes said something disgusting about her. they only complained at Kerry saying he loved her.

10. induce his listeners to send money and to pray
then when it turns out (predictably) that the VP is okay - he will claim it is because his followers sent money and prayed (in that order.)

11. Can you spell congestive heart failure?
I can

My father had exactly the same medical history as Cheney: heart attacks, implanted defibrillator, occurrances with gout and SHORTNESS of BREATH- congestive heart failure

I watched my father die last year; he started with retaining fluid, shortness of breath, walking with a cane, it started in March 04 by August 04 he had already advanced from a cane to a walker to a wheelchair as Doctors tried to deal with fluid and adjusting meds

Cheney will be seeing a lot of his Doctors

13. Cheney seems to be like a cat
with many lives - how many times has he been rushed to the hospital - and then a few hours later is declared fit and is seen driving away. No reason, imo, to assume this is any different.

21. If I had access to my father's chart it would be close to a HUNDRED
times that he was brought to a hospital and his "box" adjusted (that's what we called his ICD - defibrillator)

But once the syptoms of congestive heart failure occurred the doctors were stymied. The medications are finely balanced and the congestive heart failure was rapid.

We are going to see a huge increase in Cheney going to the hospital for treatment

My whole family (father too) felt Cheney"s medical history alone should have precluded him from consideration as Veep

17. On CNN, they were clearly reading from the WH fax
"His shortness of breath is a side effect of a medication for a foot problem, not related to his heart history."

Somehow Karl knows this when a doctor probably could not at this point.

These guys are going to try to manipulate their own funerals.

25. Of course it has to do with his heart history: he is probably filling up
with fluid as a result of a deviation in heart meds (see my post from above regarding congestive heart failure)

I lived through this wih my father last year

Even if they say it's gout they have to adjust his meds and then congestive heart failure gets a "toe hold" (forgive the pun)

Congestive heart failure is progressive

I stand by what I wrote before: Cheney will be seeing alot of his doctors

35. I don't know. But for CNN already to be claiming that
his problem is a side effect of medication for this foot problem is just silly. No doctor has come to that conclusion that I know of.

27. Medical shorthand for shortness of breath: S.O.B.
The Veep is S.O.B.. Probably due to indictment jitters and scandal jim-jams. I predict a quick "retirement" for health reasons and a presidential pardon on "humanitarian" grounds.

S.O.B.

Imus just had a nice quip about how fewer speaking engagements would solve the "foot problem" by allowing him to KEEP IT OUT OF HIS MOUTH.

He's supposedly OK, so I can stop burning my vigil candles now.
