In the political world, offices have what they call the Wall of Honor, w/ pictures of themselves with every important person in that world, starting w/ every president they've ever met. That's why at all gatherings w/ governors, senators, presidents, vice-presidents, there's an official photographer taking pictures. Big donors get pics; lobbyists get pics. While Abramoff may have destroyed them, people who visited his office or worked for him would have seen them.
