Scriptural Foundation For Terrible Human Resource Management |
|
Edited on Mon Jan-09-06 09:24 AM by The Whiskey Priest
Throughout the past several years we have been enlightened as to the biblical foundation for certain events--natural and man-made disasters have quickly been explained through interpretation of the religious writings.
What I have been pondering this morning is just what scriptural foundation is there for God hiring a certifiable looney like Pat Robertson as his chief spokesman?
I am really, really wanting to know here.

The Bible can be interpreted in infinite ways, and made to seem to conform to any agenda. This is the beauty of it, as far as the Religious Right is concerned.
There is also the "Rhema Word", which in Pentecostal circles means that God is giving orders or inspiration directly to an individual. So, they can always claim that God told them so, and nobody can prove He didn't.
It's a great scam.

It's been used for years to bring people (and their money) under their power through fear and ignorance. Wouldn't you think they would eventually catch on?
Some day, they'll run out of Kool-Aid.
