During Clinton Administration, Dems fought against expansion of powers
I noticed this when someone asked about the difference between line-item-veto vs. singing statements by Bush. Both are unconstitutional.

When Clinton was granted expanded power to Line Item Veto in 1996 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Line_Item_Veto_Act_of_1996), TWO DEMOCRATIC senators LED THE CHARGE to have the law OVERTURNED because they felt the law gave too much power to the executive branch. The eventually succeeded in 1998 in a bipartisan effort to overturn the law.

When will republicans do what's right for their country instead of blindly following a fascist dictator? Wait, wait, don't tell me, NEVER! Becuase republicans don't care about DEMOCRACY.
