Have you checked out your library's databases? Might be a good place to look.

Jesse was a "master" (in spades) of the anti-UN rhetoric..
What I have heard, is that shortly after it was instituted, some conservatives balked at the idea because THEY wanted to control the money spent, and the whole idea of small countries even HAVING a say irritated them to no end...and it was always compared to the "League of Nations" idea put forth by Woodrow Wilson. Siince THAT was an idea of a democrat, of course a similar idea later would "have" to be opposed by republicans..
and then there's the whole thing of "new world order" and a "world government" that scares the bejeebus out of them.. (Even though Bush 1 actually USED the language and proposed a "new world order"..)

3. Isn't the semester nearly over? |

And you still need a topic for a term paper? Tsk Tsk. Bad student.
Now that I've lectured you (and before I begin to type a page of my own term paper), here's what a military Repug conservative professor I had for World Politics thought about the U.N.: He didn't give it any credence because it had no police force to back it up. Not surprising he would feel that way. Repugs are only interested in inflicting punishment on others.

or the Constitution Party's site. Both are full of tall tales about how the UN is EEEEvil.
