Gas prices here only 50 cents away from all-time (Katrina) high.
Locally in St. Louis, regular unleaded is at $2.59 at most stations. The highest we hit after Katrina last summer was $3.09. How bad is it in your area?

Edited on Sat Apr-08-06 04:42 PM by tammywammy
Earlier in the week, I was going to put a little in, and I drove by 3 stations. $2.79/gallon, then $2.69/gallon and last and where I did put a little in $2.59/gallon. And this was all in a couple of miles on the same street in Irving.

edited to add: Don't forget to check www.gasbuddy.com for the lowest price in your area!
