Bush takes another hit
He probably doesn't even know about it.

I just listened to Pink's "Dear Mr. President."

Holy cow. "How do you sleep at night, while the rest of us cry?

How do you walk with your head held high?"

1. That is such a great song!
Let me tell you about hard work. You don't know nothing about hard work.

Gives me the chills.

13. Heck, I'm getting them both...
for my very adult daughter's birthday coming up! I'd never even heard of "Pink" before I found this song on here, but I've played it over and over and over this week and intend to buy several as gifts next week.

I only wish we could have bpilgrim's flash to go along with the Blunt song, to pass around as well.

15. Thanks, I just printed those
lyrics out cause I want to show them to my friend at work. I told her the other day that the pink basket I put under the plant was in honor of Pink(featuring the Indigo Girls) who has written this song called "Dear Mr President" .. :)

8. Here are some more IN HIS FACE lyrics.
Wonder if the boys are singing THIS one in China:

SWEET NEO CON
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

You call yourself a Christian
I think that you're a hypocrite
You say you are a patriot
I think that you're a crock of shit

And listen now, the gasoline
I drink it every day
But it's getting very pricey
And who is going to pay

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con.... Yeah

It's liberty for all
'Cause democracy's our style
Unless you are against us
Then it's prison without trial

But one thing that is certain
Life is good at Haliburton
If you're really so astute
You should invest at Brown & Root.... Yeah

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
If you turn out right
I'll eat my hat tonight

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah....

It's getting very scary
Yes, I'm frightened out of my wits
There's bombers in my bedroom
Yeah and it's giving me the shits

We must have lots more bases
To protect us from our foes
Who needs these foolish friendships
We're going it alone

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
Where's the money gone
In the Pentagon

Yeah ha ha ha
Yeah, well, well

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...
Neo con

16. SWEET NEO CON
Is one of the best songs of the year. I wonder if Mick comes to DU or that he is just that smart?

12. This one gets a recommendation all over my neighborhood
Green Day, the Rolling Stones and now Pink, loudly pointing out that the emperor really has no clothes. We're having a small musical revolution here, though it still pales in contrast to the creative outpouring against the Vietnam War. The corporatist rulers have us under their thumb-- it's difficult to speak out anymore, as the Dixie Chicks unfortunately learned. But it turns out, they were among the pioneers.

14. I am wondering if the Bush twins have heard this song and if so,
I wonder what their reaction is? I am curious to know that.
