WE NEED A MASS PROTEST!!!!

If one million people can protest against immigration reform, than why cant we have 10 million people protest against the possibility of nuclear war against Iran. There is no doubt that if Seymour Hersh's article is correct, then we can all kiss our asses goodbye.

We need to organize a mass protest to tell george bush that there is no way that we the people will support this. We need a mass protest against this impending doom. This is it folks. If he is seriously considering this, then we need to stop him. We all know that Congress wont do shit to stop him. He's already laid the groundwork for "bipartisanship" by including that eunuch Lieberman in the discussion in order to cut off debate.

We need to take to the streets of Washington DC to stop this bullshit in its tracks. We cannot let Bush destroy this planet with a nuclear holocaust. And dont for a second doubt that this is anything but that. If he goes nuclear against Iran, we will all suffer the worst fate imaginable.

The media is giving a lot of credence to those protesting the immigration reform, we need to capitalize on that, and protest this war before bush starts it, This may be the most important thing to happen in all of our lives. It needs to be done. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!!!

8. This needs to be huge!!!

We need people. We need people of influence. We need musicians, actors, activists, good politicians, etc. I guarantee if this were organized correctly we could get big name people involved. Green Day comes to mind. I also have a few contacts that I could use to try to get Hollywood involved as well. My contacts arent great, but the people I know, also know other people. We need a grass roots effort to do this.

We need sponsors, and we need a major effort! Not just a few pissed off people on DU to get this done!

I don't know what happened to Americans. After the 70's they lost their edge. They are perfectly willing to bend over for employers and get repeatedly raped with hardly even a token protest. I was hoping some one here would have an answer. Whatever happened to the college protests? We need people in all the major cities to get involved in this and put a stop to this before it happens. If we don't show our opposition to this, IT WILL HAPPEN! We need to organize, and NOW!

* Nobody goes to work 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
* Everybody reports to their town squares or travels to major metropolitan gatherings to march.
* Potentially shut down major arteries of traffic.
* Pepper the MSM with letters of protest, not forgetting local and regional papers.
* Haunt their Senators and congress critters like ghosts with their outrage.
* Nobody purchases even a cup of coffee during those hours. Boycott wholesale.
