I am working on the campaign of Bryan Kennedy, who is running against Sensenbrenner. Need I say more?!

I thought it would be fun to translate "Support Kennedy/Dump Sensenbrenner" into as many immigrant languages as possible.

I am saying "support" instead of "vote" for Kennedy because most people who see this will not be in his district.

This is what I have so far- please comment and add!


Spanish: Deshazte de Sensenbrenner / Apoya a Kennedy!

French: renvoyez Sensenbrenner / soutenez Kennedy

German: Sensenbrenner raus, Kennedy los!

2. I'd suggest you strengthen the French a bit

Conspuez Sensenbrenner! Soutenez Kennedy!

The former is "Down with Sensenbrenner!" The latter I left untouched.

It's just the difference between the correct and slightly bookish to the thing that would be screamed in the street by a protestor.

8. Here in California the Asian languages

are predominate. We always have to have signs in Vietnamese, Chinese and Korean, at the very least. We usually have Tagalog, too, as well as the Indian languages. But maybe your target audience is different.

Steun Kennedy is great, but I personally would change the "geen" to
Sensenbrenner Eruit /Steun Kennedy.

The Geen Sensenbrenner is a form that reads quite awkwardly in Dutch.
