Who is watching this show on immigration on CNN? |
|
This guy from Georgia they are interviewing is a xenophobic ass. He is pissed because a family of Mexicans moved in across the street from him and didn't want to trade recipes? WTF?
He says illegal 'aliens' are ruining Georgia.

(1630) and the Spaniards were so appreciative they gave us huge chunks of land in the form of grants starting around 1730.
What a difference a couple of centuries makes.

4 canned chipotle chiles, minced 2 large tomatoes, diced half a small onion, chopped 1/4 C chopped cilantro the juice of 1 lime salt
Throw everything into a blender but don't let it liquify -- keep some of the texture.
Serve with everything. :hi:

19. I have this realy cool way to poach eggs that lets me mix.. |
|
Chipotles in adobo with the eggs before I poach them.
Tortilla with mayo, red leaf lettuce, poached eggs con Chipotle, cheese, perfect taco.
Heck, we make baked beans with Chipotle. I have put crushed, dried Chipotles mixed with crushed Ancho (dried Poblano pepper) on ice cream.
Do you think I may have a substance fixation problem?

I use Poblanos in my 10-tamale recipe and cut the butter -- because they have a buttery taste. Okay for my mom to eat on her restricted diet.
Btw, I have to try that taco recipe. It sounds addictive. lol

poaching the eggs.
They are better than scrambled and if your Mother has a non-dairy dietary restricion, better for her, too.
Here's how you do it: Using a coarse strainer or slotted spoon, let the thin part of the egg white drain off. Your Golden will love you for this (I am sure he loves you plenty, but that stuff is so good for his coat). Put the eggs in a bowl and mix with a fork. The eggs are a little more texturally interesting if you do not over-fork. I then take a can of Chipotle in Adobo Sauce and remove 1 or 2 (depending on # of eggs and your tolerance) peppers and chop them finely. Bring 4 inches of salted (I use quite a bit for firmness) water to a boil. Stir water into a clockwise "whirlpool". Pour (do not "dump" them) in eggs and cover. Count to 20 or so - the more, the firmer. Using slotted spoon to hold back the egg mix, pour into strainer and then pour eggs into strainer when drained. This is important, if you just pour the whole thing into the stainer it is a mess. Squeeze excess water out by pressing spoon on eggs while still in the strainer.
Spread mayo (Have you tried the new Canola mayo from Best Foods? I also have a problem with that drug.) on tortilla, place a leaf of Red Leaf on it. Place eggs (salt and pepper)and cheese on lettuce, wrap and enjoy!
I do this with bacon, onions, chili, or anything I can grab.
Black beans on the side ain't too shabby, neither.
Now, about that 10 Tamale recipe....

18. Georgians have been screaming about this shite for decades |
|
back in the sixties, my great aunts and cousins were cussing on and on about the "cuban niggras" (that's how my relatives put it) taking over the state and the city of Atlanta - then in the seventies i heard about the Vietnamese refugees - then in the 80's it was the Hatian "niggras".
Atlanta Georgia is where i was born and most of my relatives live near, but they're among the most ignorant, racists idiots of the deep South. Not all native white Georgians are like that, but unfortunately too many appear to continue to be that way, and it's 2006.
I think they'll be fighting the Civil War for the next two hundred years.

Asking guys on the street for their green cards and calling immigration to report them during that rally?? He's lucky they didn't beat the shit out of him.
But the kicker was when he was pissed that his Mexican neighbors wouldn't trade recipes with him. Just think - if they had invited him over for guacomole he may never have gone on his little minuteman crusade!
