What bothers me about an attack on Iran |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-09-06 08:42 PM by joemurphy
is the ineptitude of this administration. First we had 911 and all those reports we ignored about militant Arabs taking flying lessons. Then there was Iraq and all those WMDs and nuclear weapons programs that Saddam had that forced us to go to war. Then there was Katrina and that boffo job that DHS and FEMA did in handling that. And then there's the budget deficit, bridges to nowhere, and the Prescription Drug program from hell. Then there's Abu Ghraib, Gitmo, and black cells in Europe. Throw Teri Schiavo into the mix too -- we can't forget her.
So my concern is that we'll probably screw up Iran too. A "surgical strike" handled by these surgeons could wind up with us missing Iran and blowing away India or something. Even if dropping the big one on Iran were a good idea (and it isn't), I really think we ought to find someone a little more competent to handle it.
I'm really tired of these idiots. Can we get someone intelligent in the White House in 2008?

that once again , the once honorable military of the US, will be attacking and killing people who have done us no harm and presented no threat. Incompetent or not, an attack on Iran is both immoral and illegal. We are already responsible for the murder of several tens of thousands of innocent people.
