NE Wisconsin main editorial - Investigate Bush & his Iraq War
Posted April 9, 2006

Editorial: We need answers

It's time for an independent investigation about how United States got into Iraq war

snip-

The time has come for a no-holds-barred inquiry into the run-up to the Iraq war — an independent investigation that produces answers, rather than leaving the matter for historians to sort out decades later.

Fitzgerald's probe was targeted at a small part of a larger issue. Perhaps he should broaden it.

Or maybe we need a new inquiry, given the scope and allegations. One with more manpower, more urgency and just as much independence.

There's absolutely no reason we can't task someone or some entity with scrutinizing actions — some of which may apparently border on illegal — that have cost hundreds of billions of dollars and thousands of American lives.

3. Must be why those from other states think that Wisconsin is COLD
They think all of Wisconsin has the same temp when the northern part is colder.

I keep telling them that my former home town is many times 1 to 2 degrees warmer than it is in NE Indiana.
