I know that I do not say this enough, and I cannot say it enough. But thank you for your participation on this blog and your words of encouragement, your suggestions and comments. Many of you have come up to me in airports and on the street, especially in the last two or three months, to express your appreciation for my work. Thank you for that.

Thank you, sir, for being a true American patriot, and a tireless warrior in this fight to save the soul of America. You have done things other politicians are too timid to do, and we owe you a debt of gratitude. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. With more like you in Congress, our country would be much better off than it is now. May God bless and keep you, and restore the democracy that we thought was America.

especially that past two years. John Conyers is one of the only things that stood between me and utter depair. He is a hero and a true patriot.

7. Congressman Conyers speaks for me

100% I could write one of those “his tireless efforts on behalf of” screeds here and be entirely correct. But that’s not the way I feel about Congressman Conyers. I support Congressman Conyers with all my heart and soul and I can state as a fact that I don’t feel that way about very many people in my life much less politicians.
