French students smash employment law - THAT'S the way to do it
French President Jacques Chirac has announced that the new youth employment law that sparked weeks of protests will be scrapped.

He said the First Employment Contract - or CPE - would be replaced by other measures to tackle youth unemployment.

Millions of students and union members have taken to the streets over the last month in protest against the law, with demonstrations often turning violent.

The government had backed the law which made it easier to fire young workers.

The United States has the worst labour rights record in the developed world. American workers are on a treadmill that needs to be smashed.

Nothing like a bit of class war to start the week. :)

Remember when French-bashing was all the rage?

Well, friends and neighbors, the French just showed everyone how it's done.

2. Class warfare, I love it .........
The economic policies of this chimp have already caused enormous damage to the shrinking middle class. The stated objective of these policies is to enrich his monied friends (corporate sponsors like big oil, big pharma, defense contractors, insurance industry) at the expense of the rest of us.

His medicare prescription drug scheme has physically endangered the weakest among us. It is tantamount to economic genocide.

The chimp and his minions have so much as said the equivalent of "Let them eat cake." We know what happened to the last person who said that.

5. Yeah, Marie Antoinette didn't have Teeee-Veeeee to hide behind.
She told the peasants to "eat Cake" and they took her head off.

Il Douche tells the Murkan Sheeple "Gotta fight'em THERE!" and "Ah'm gwinna letcha keep more'n yer own MUNNY!" and the Sheeple want to have a beer with the fucker. Right after they get done spending $50 to vote mutliple times for their "Murkan Eye-DULL".

7. It Was a Stupid Law
Firing people under 26 for no reason? Stupid! If I had been French & under 26 I would have raised some hell, too.
