Any official results out of Italy?
I know that exit polls put Prodi over the top with a majority in Parliament, and the Berlusconi is exit polled to be on the outs.

Anything offcial yet?

1. Nothing I've heard yet.
Exit polls say voters punished Berlusconi.

2. Exit Polls?
We're living in an age, where they've rendered "exit polls" insignificant. Results are often varied, but I'll hold out hope this time is different.

Italy is closely associated with King george, so I wouldn't trust them one bit.

3. Polling takes place over two days in Italy. And it's a proportional
representative system, it could take another couple of days for the result. Even then there is no guarantee that a government will be able to be formed.

4. As per La Repubblica....
Unione (Prodi) 50-54%
Polo (Berlusconi) 45-49%
for the Chamber of Representatives
For the Senate, exit polls are much closer.

From La Repubblica (repubblica.it)

LIVE. With voting over, a victory by the opposition is expected, with a more ambiguous result in the Senate: according to Palazzo Madama estimates , the Senate would end up with 158 seats to the center-left coalition and 151 to CDL . The IPR instant poll: 52.2% to 47.1% .
