2. We are in more trouble than I thought. That was pathetic. I am actually
coming around to the view that Bush actually is a stupid fuckwit and not just ignorant.

3. He doesn't have a clue...
....can you imagine what the republicans would be saying if John Kerry, Al Gore or Bill Clinton answered questions like that?

Beyond pathetic. The student is clearly more intelligent and capable than he is.

idiot in chief gets out and does the texas cowboy act, his ratings will go up again.

8. Can't we have the young woman questioner as President ?
she's obviously more intelligent and better informed than Bush. I suspect she might have a few ideas about how to solve the problem as well.

11. its bad enough that he doesn't know the answer to this question ...
what is worse is that he doesn't seem to care .. doesn't seem to recognize that it is a serious problem/question that should be answered. As POTUS or Commander in Chief .. geezus .. this is f'n important. I soooo miss having an intelligent president.

12. Pathetic
What good is it going to do to send Dubya on a PR tour if he isn't going to answer questions and acts like he'd rather be having dental surgery than to be there? :banghead:

14. A story from earlier today
One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children in her
class what their fathers did for a living.

All the typical answers came up - fireman, mechanic,
businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.

But little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher
prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father's an exotic dancer in
a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men, and they
put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will
go home with some guy and make love with him for money."

The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the children
to work on some exercises and then took little Justin aside and asked him,
"Is that really true about your father?"

"No," the boy said, "He works for the Republican National Committee and
helped re-elect George Bush, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front
of the other kids."
