I no longer watch the so-called "mainstream news" anymore. Why? Because of the crap they insist is "news, that's why.

One of the most recent disgusting screeds I heard about by an incredulous person was Paula Zahn's diatribe against John Conyers for having staff babysit. Oh my! How shocking! What a waste of our tax dollars!

As a person who recently had a baby sent to me with an hour's notice from the state, I am telling you crap happens, Paula. I love this child as my own ~ and I have raised four other children while working those wonderful McJobs you seem to think are so great. Guess what? For childcare, it took over half of my wage, with rent taking the other half. Perhaps since you have not actually been a parent who has sole responsibility (instead of a poorly paid nanny), you cannot imagine what it takes to aactually BE a parent. So Mr. Conyers had some of his staff baby-sit. Oh GAWD!

How despicable to even concentrate on such a thing when almost 9 BILLION FREAKING DOLLARS went missing in Iraq by greedy contractors, the waste of almost a trillion dollars by avaricious rich Americans who believe they do "hard work" sitting by the pool collecting their dividends instead of paying taxes, or the hundreds of billions being wasted on a war based on lies! How "trivial" of a representative to actually take his citizenship seriously and actually speak up about such "crazy wing nut things" as our right to vote without a fix, as well as the lies and exaggerations this administration has given to America for war in exchange for making billions from our tax dollars!

You know what I think, Paula? I think you are prostituting for yourself and your rich friends because you know this administration is going down. They are going down because you and your friends think it is just so patriotic to not pay taxes and rake in the dough on the backs of your fellow Americans dying in Iraq, spending the rest of their lives without limbs or faces, starving on crap wages and having no safety net. Just like the last revolution in this country was all about, beginning with a tea party, Lady! Like the lovers of the other King George did back then, you and your friends think you are so patriotic to live off the poor with your tax breaks while living in your mansions you expect us to clean,. Instead of facing the fact this attitude is inhumane, much less un-American, you have to trash John Conyers for stuff that doesn’t even come close to the hypocritical, greedy, stupid, myopic, wasteful and ignorant behavior of the people in power you love so much. That is what I think.
