If the margin of error for these exit polls is 3-5%, we'll have to win by at least 7-8% to keep these elections from being stolen.

That, or start jumping up and down NOW about our voting machines. Because they are blatantly and shamelessly just flat out stealing elections now. We know it's coming, so what can we do about it?

1. They stole some Ohio referendums by more than 20% last year.
There is _NO_ "margin of error" that is gonna help us.

They are gonna steal it, and then DARE us
to do anything about it.

AGAIN.

5. But this election
The polls are so against them, that Diebold risks ruining their whole company if the results are outrageous. No one is going to believe it if Republicans are getting 5% more votes than Dems when Polls show Dems up 15%.

At least lets hope so. I guess we can never underestimate the ability of Americans to blindly accept the results they are told.

7. Ruin the company? If they _DON'T_ steal this, they are GOING TO PRISON.
They don't have any choices left-
they have painted themselves into a corner.

"Ruining the company" is hardly even a concern
when the biggest criminal conspiracy in history
starts to unravel around your ears.

The name of the game for them in 2006 is
"Desperately clinging to power by any means necessary".

And make no mistake, they ARE desperate.

3. To be certain everything's on the up and up
we needed to have taken elections out of the hands of private companies like Diebold. That's the first step. But the DLC seems unwilling to take it.

4. Exit poll shmexit poll. No lead can't be overcome when
Diebold is doing the counting.

6. Absolutely. A 12 year old could write a vote-skimming algorithm
Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 03:25 PM by Atman
It's the easiest thing to do. For every X votes cast for candidate A, XX votes are tabulated for candidate B. No margin could overcome the skimming.

Count on it, kids. The question isn't IF it will happen, it is WHAT WILL WE DO when it does?

8. They are so blatant, when you look at all the instances where a test
was given and showed the machines to be faulty, or even the manner in which the elections are stolen on election night.

It doesn't matter where, it's usually the same thing. Exit polls and preliminary reports show one guy is up, then all of a sudden, the other guy gets a surge of votes, then a power outage or some other glitch occurs. Suddenly, the guy who was losing by 5 points is up by 3. Subsequent tests of the machines will show them to be faulty. Some election officials will be charged, some will be indicted, and most of them will be slapped on the wrist. We'll hear about extra efforts to purge voters, and conflicts of interest between election officials and candidates. A few months from the date of the crime, these revelations will come out on page 12, if at all.

9. SO if in the fall a close race goes to the Democrats
We can rest assured that they actually beat their opponents by 7% (or by 20%)?
