Joe Wilson is all over TV in defense of his wife; why didn't McCain...
do the same after the 2000 South Carolina primary, after the Bush campaign spread vicious rumors about his wife and child?

Joe Wilson still wants Karl Rove frog-marched out of the White House; he says that to anyone to this day. Not to be sexist, but what kind of man does this:

2. He played it up big locally, but I wondered if he did nationally.

Somehow I'm not at all surprised that he didn't.

That picture still makes me retch in my throat a bit--I'm not kidding. The man survived the Hanoi Hilton and let himself be reduced to that. Ick, ick, ick.

4. He's capable of great courage. As is Wilson, when he put the noose...
around his neck, taunting Saddam, as ambassador in Baghdad.

I don't know what happened to McCain, and can't understand, when a wife and child are involved.

3. He don't have the guts of a jill carroll that's for sure
Didn't his Vietnamese captors make a movie of him denouncing the USA? Did the wingnuts jump in the middle of his shit like they did when Carroll's video came out? It wouldn't surprise me if he sold out his buddies after the way he let bush slander his wife and family and then posed for "the picture". He really isn't much of a man is he.

8. When? when he was bombing innocent Vietnamese civilians?
Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 04:54 PM by Gabi Hayes
guy I went to grad school with was a former F-4 pilot and the REASON he went back to school was to become a teacher, to try to repay, in some fashion, the MASS MURDER he committed...those were his own words. he told me he'd never ever be able to assuage the horrible feelings of guilt he felt over what he did.

since McCain has been known to still call em googks, I seriously doubt if he's ever had similar qualms

I have no more sympathy for what he did there than what any German Stuka pilot did over Poland or Russia. they were often taken on the ground and torn to pieces on the spot.

9. I think McCain was threatened by Karl Rove
and now McCain will have Rove running his presidential campaign. Rove is an evil MF.

Joe Wilson dealt with Saddam for years...he ain't scared of nobody!

10. Must have lost his manhood in Nam.
Sad. What was done to him and his family was totally wrong, no matter how vile a person he himself is.

12. Well, in all fairness, the WIFE announced her drug problem so they
could get out front of the story...the child, however, is another story. I don't know any man who'd let that sort of attack go on.
