I am torn betwixt registering Constitution Party and independent, one thing for sure, the GOP has no further attraction for me.

Oh, so this is the thread where the silly people who want to hand Hillary the election hang out. Good to know.

I wonder why the real radicals in the Dem party aren't attracted to the Greens? I really don't know much about the Constitution Party except that it is very tiny---even smaller than the Libertarian Party USA.

2. Oh dear, and they started off so well.
According to the report, "The Constitution Party opposes what it calls "undeclared wars" like the one in Iraq" - well, that is excellent news. I don't think anyone here can find fault with this example of clear thinking. An excellent start. Lets look at the rest of their platform.

They oppose "any type of abortion" - Oops, things beginning to get shaky here. Is the Constitution Party an affiliate of the Taliban, perhaps?

They oppose "the United Nations" - Hmmm, yes, because having a world full of loose cannons with no organised collective way of limiting their excesses was a good thing. Not looking good for the Consties here.

The oppose "the Patriot Act" - a brief return to sanity before plunging right off the deep end with "it wants to return the country to the gold standard, abolish property taxes and have parents pay for their child's own schooling." Right on! Let's party like its 1899!!

As you say, maybe these dangerous dimwits will split the Republicans. Or maybe they'll just blow themselves up trying to siphon gas while smoking. Either way works for me.

4. Wow! here's an interesting post re: repubs and fear.
To: Peach

I find it interesting to note that the only way the "Republican til death" (RTD's for short) crew seems to think they can appeal to potential third party voters is through fear.

Fear is what landed us in this mess in the first place. If people had been rejecting RINO's as they should have been instead of bowing down to the "we don't want a democrat in that seat at any cost" mindset the Republican party wouldn't be in the sad shape it is today.

Better late than never I say, either the Republican candidates move back to the right en masse immediately or they face the music in November.

There will no longer be any negotiations with traitors to the conservative principles.
