If not the 60's, then just plain ol' psychotic revenge fantasies. Early in life, they got beat up or made fun of by someone they misidentified as liberal and have based their entire lives on "getting back" at that person.

... than I care to even try to count. As the only child of a divorced mother, we moved a lot and there was no "my dad can kick your dad's butt" escape clause. Always a gang. Their most common axe to grind? I was a "smart ass" and made them look bad in school. I resorted to the only defense available: berzerker. (I've EARNED the right to be a 'nut.') I discovered the power of "nothing to lose" - no matter who "won" they'd pay for it in pain. Fight fair? That was never an option. Nonetheless, I'm a liberal. Always will be. :shrug:
