Conservative Blogger Defends Videogames |

http://gamepolitics.livejournal.com/257641.htmlPerhaps this belongs in the Lounge, but it seems that more people would see it here rather than there. At the very least, this will probably piss off Jack Thompson.

1. Well, then I agree with "conservative blogger". |
|
No video game has EVER made someone do ANYTHING illegal. Period.

2. I don't know about that. |
|
I imagine that over the years at least a few of the games have been shoplifted.

3. Alright, I'll concede that one. |
|
But the game still didn't make him or her shoplift. Capitalist brainwashing, telling kids they NEED stuff, is more at fault there.

4. Opposing videogame violence is a CONSERVATIVE thing |
|
Who is the most outspoken critic against VVGs? Joe Lieberman, who we all know is not a real Dem. Plus, conservatives are the ones who are pro-censorship and basically anti-fun and anti-anything kids like.
