A lot of CNN bashing today

I find it interesting that the right hates CNN just as much as we do. What does that mean?

the Clinton News Network. Refuses to watch it like I refuse to watch faux. But she lives 1300 miles away and we never discuss politics. The daughter who lives a mile from me is a democrat, though.

5. TimeWarner made them corporate panderers

saved occasionally by some of their reporting staff. You can develop a fairly accurate intuition of when the word comes down from corporate to "tone down that story" cause someone's rich pals are likely to be embarrassed, some newsitem hasn't been prechewed enough for the masses, or something is likely to engender an emotional reaction that isn't on the acceptable/engineered list. I sympathized with Ted Turner when he ditched his TW position in fairly blatant disgust after selling them his magnum opus; at least he didn't let himself be turned into a corporate business eunuch for dollars. You can also tell who among the reporters are lackeys of the bourgeoisie and who still have their frontal lobes attached.

Wolfie, Howie Kurtz, AEI's Bill Schneider, Carol Lin and Kyra Phillips have to carry Rove's message all by their lonesomes. :cry:

8. For a news network to be "liked" by either side means

they're in somebody's pocket. Only when both sides hate them does it mean they're doing what they were meant to do- report the results of UNBIASED investigative journalism.

I know, I know, we're talking about CNN here, but... I've been told the occasional dream does come true. So who's to say this one won't?
