Can the retiring generals be reinstated by the next president? |
|
It seems very unfair to them to be forced to retire, just because an imbecile commander-in-chief has assumed office at the peak of their military career.
I know that some of them probably were considering retirement at some point, but it seems as though protesting via retirement seems to be their only recourse.
If their mass exodus is the impetus to finally DO something about this mis-administration, it seems to me that they should be rewarded by the next president.. Can he/she do this?
Could a bunch of generals be thinking about this as part of their plan?
