Italy vote rigged: Berlusconi
ITALY'S defeated prime minister, Silvio Berlusconi, has criticised "vote-rigging" in the country's elections, saying he is "confident" of an eventual victory.

"(There was) so much vote-rigging, I am confident the result must change," Mr Berlusconi, who lost the election to Romano Prodi's centre-left coalition by a tiny margin, told the press as he emerged from his home in Rome.

The prime minister had yesterday denounced what he called a "great many irregularities", which he claimed occurred during the election.

He has refused to accept the victory of Mr Prodi's alliance.

"The rigging was all in one direction, it was absolutely not evenly spread," said Mr Berlusconi.

7. Exactly. The only fraud in this election is that....
the center left parties were CHEATED out of votes due to "fixing" by Don Silvio.

They should have gotten 53% of the vote according to the exit polls.

10. Dunno, but it's not obvious that they have separate words for it/them...
Romance languages sometimes only have one word for semantic-1st-cousins, where we might have several.
