I can't believe I keep hitting myself in the head!
I'm sitting here hitting myself in the head, and the next thing I know, I'm hitting myself in the head! WTF?!
</stupidity>

People, the media is BOUGHT OUT. Right-wing pundits are going to push RIGHT-WING BULLSHIT. Liars, like most of this administration, are going to LIE. Why the fuck are so many people surprised every time this happens, and why do you feel the need to post about it here? If you're just venting, alright, I do that too. Otherwise, just fucking TURN THEM OFF rather than giving them free advertising here. OK?

1. Um, that's mainly what we do here: complain about liars.
It's fun and it's necessary as the first step in formulating responses and strategies. These complaints form the basis, for example, of LTTEs to inform the sheeple about each new big lie.

2. I think its a good idea
to publicize and repeat their lies to correct thinking people to amplify their faults. I listen to their kind maybe a half hour a month and I'm never disappointed at how easily they prove our points about them. I think an occasional reminder and examples are permissible.

3. The whole media sellout has been a long-term process,
but it's been just in the past couple months that I've really felt isolated -- not from not watching the news, but just getting the feeling that they're not there to turn to anymore. It used to be something of a comfort (or a source of authority) that if someone somewhere really knew something , they could always turn to the media for its exposure, for its voice heard by millions. It was our light in the roach-filled kitchen.

No more. We're on our own. We are the fourth estate.

in the world. But here i can find like minded people that want to bring to light the fact that our news media in this country are full of shit. Thanks DU and keep it up, it makes one feel better.

5. The media sucks,
hell, TV IN GENERAL sucks. And has anyone seen those AboveTheInfluence commercials? I need a few drinks just to recover from that horsecrap!
