I could use some help here...

I need something clear and concise about Peak Oil and the coming crisis. I've got a friend who, unfortunately, gets most of his news from the TV. I can't really blame him for it, he's dyslexic and can't read off a computer screen very well for any length of time. I need something credible that isn't too involved...bullet points or something of that nature.

I bring it up because he was saying the other day that the Saudis are deliberately decreasing production because they're losing money, and that there's no crisis in the making. This guy is smart as hell, but he's slightly right of center as I'm slightly left of center, and I don't think his reliance on corporate news sources is helping matters any.
