His name was Jack--? Can't remember the last name, but he's a regular military analyst for MSNBC.
Another analyst type quoted during the broadcast was Barry McCaffrey! Why didn't HE speak up sooner? (That's a rhetorical question; we all know the answer.)

They can respectfully disagree, privately, but are not permitted to speak publicly against a superior.
There is a rumor that several current high ranking officers will resign from the military if Rummy and the boys don't refuse the nuke option for Iran. We'll see.
