South Park creators "Little whores" says Catholic Leagure president
:wow:

http://www.kcra.com/entertainment/8672484/detail.html

A frequent "South Park" critic, William Donohue of the anti-defamation group Catholic League, called on Parker and Stone to resign out of principle for being censored.

"The ultimate hypocrite is not Comedy Central - that's their decision not to show the image of Muhammad or not - it's Parker and Stone," he said. "Like little whores, they'll sit there and grab the bucks. They'll sit there and they'll whine and they'll take their shot at Jesus. That's their stock in trade."

1. How elegant
How dignified.

William Donahue calling someone else a "whore."

What's that commandment about bearing false witness?

Just another reason to love them rightwingnuts, no matter what denomination.

2. And the God of the Universe needs defending because . . . ?
This guy makes Jesus sound like a 98 lb. weakling who needs a big brother to come beat up Parker and Stone. Pfft.

3. Uh, I thought it was a joke...
Seriously, does he really think Comedy Central actually censored them? And allowed Jesus to be portrayed the way he was?

12. It was obviously a joke
Otherwise the Jesus pooping on bush wouldn't have been there at the end.

15. It wasn't a joke...
Although CC never said anything about Mohammed in the Super Best Friends episode, after the Mohammed cartoons, they wouldn't let Matt and Trey put Mohammed in an episode.

They are making a statement by showing it's ok to have Jesus take a shit on George W. Bush and the American flag but they can't show Mohammed.

4. Ha- well, I'm sure South Park's creators will love the attention.
Besides- far be it from me to defend a couple of pseudo-Libertarian, know-nothing dimwits like "Matt and Trey".

10. For once, he's right, for the wrong reasons.
Even though I agree with Parker and Stone's point about censorship, I think they are right-wing whores and their show is mostly crap. Unfortunately, there is a demand out there for such material, and they meet the demand, and that's what our system is all about.

Personally, I choose to change the channel to something less obnoxious.

16. i thought there was something magic about south park....
i haven't seen that many episodes, having no cable, but the episodes i saw seemed....very good. the 'Drugs are bad, marijuana's bad' episode seem brilliant (the teacher, mr mackey, hands around a bag of pot to show kids what it's like, but it disappears after class- he's fired from school and kicked outta his home, now an outcast, he meets hippies who turn him on with marijuana and his head expands, he become hip and girl falls in love - he goes to india and become popular, people notice, so in panic the school and town fathers fetch him back, give him his job back etc...lol. he returns to being a bore, and teaching that drugs are bad)..it's too bad parker and trey are so well off that they live in a bubble where bush is bad only in the way like marijuana is bad.....

13. This irritates fundies to no end...
...but if Jesus was Man, and God, did he not urinate and deficate? And since he must have, since he also slept and ate, did his "scat not stinketh"? Was his urine like the flow of a clean, sparkling stream? Seriously, did he have to bathe? Did he have a personal body odor? Cavities?

19. Well, Donohue should know a thing or two about organizations which whore
No offense to any practicing Catholics here, but I hardly think some wingnut self-appointed religious nutcase for a church that features weeping madonnas and pilgrimages to rock salt/cinder runoff images of Mary under a Chicago expressway has any moral foundation for commentary.

And Donohue should know a lot about whoring - after all, isn't running his pedophile-protecting "anti-defamation" Catholic League his claim to a full time productive job?

24. The pot calling the kettle black
William Donohue *is* an attention seeking whore. I seriously think he's jealous of Parker and Stone. There are people who actually listen to what Parker and Stone have to say. No one gives a rats ass what Billy-boy has to say. He's just upset that there are "whores" who are more "attractive" than he is.

(I'm not a fan of South Park, but it's impossible to deny the shows popularity).
