Oh Christ, Talk About Fascist Friday On C-Spin! Listen to rove's Speech!
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 07:16 AM by Dinger
Watching rove's speech, and now a "registered Democrat" calls on the "independent" line and says rove is articulate, and bu$h in "commander in chief," and "God Bless America," Brian says "No criticism, just comment on rove's speech"! Hey, fuck that, I'm callin' in!

2. I'm watching it too.
It seems like every other caller is some 195 year old veteran who still thinks FDR is President. I think Bush could personally murder every one of these idiots' families in front of them and they'd still say "God bless you Mr. President."

Now there's some assbiscuit telling us that people are overanalysing the Iran situation and that Rove's genius lies in his ability to cut to the chase and tell it like it is. This guy shouldn't be allowed out unaccompanied.

6. Could it be, the reason they're playing this is to buffer Karl Rove's
possible arrest?

Read it all here

Karl Rove. Senior White House advisor Karl Rove figures prominently in the government’s indictment. He allegedly spoke both to Mr. Novak and Mr. Libby about Ms. Wilson’s affiliation with the CIA. Accordingly, the government’s statement that it does not presently intend to call Mr. Rove does not diminish his importance in this case.

10. Brian Lamb is the founder of C-Span and the thing he is most
concerned with is keeping his program on the air so it is not surprising that he is kissing the asses of those in power who keep him in his position. If Lamb dares to overstep his bounds and shows any equality in presenting the liberal/Progressive/Democratic pov, he will be replaced in the blink of an eye, probably by something like Ann Coulter. Don't forget that the Republicans have their own folks in charge of the FCC. Remember what those same folks did to Bill Moyer and to PBS.

I am not saying that Lamb is a Republican, I am saying that Lamb knows which side his bread is buttered on and he is licking the Rove-butter to death this morning.

I served as Executive Producer of three non-profit organizations during my working years and you better believe I kept the big funders happy even if it made me sick to my stomach.

4. According to the latest caller...
...the President is leading a 'paradigm shift' and is making hard decisions about the long term future. Like whether to have Cheerios or Wheaties, I guess.

7. Current favorite caller:
"What Karl Rove says is absolutely true. I was over there in 1955 and I could see it happening then. It's happening even more now."

What the gibbering fuck is this guy talking about?

11. Karl Rove has never done an honest day's work in his life.
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 07:47 AM by TahitiNut
He never served in the military. He never served in any diplomatic or ambassadorial post. He never produced a single widget or grew a single calorie of food. He never worked in any charitable organization or performed a community service (except possibly as a sentence). He possesses absolutely no peer-reviewed expertise of any kind in any professional or academic capacity.

Thos who can't do teach; those who can't teach consult; those who can't consult become politicians.
