Why Isn't rove In Office?
I'm just curious why he seems to be satisfied being behind the scenes?

1. I bet he has something in his past.
That is the usual reason.

5. That would be an interesting avenue to pursue
Maybe with his vindictive nature an his vast knowledge of how it all works he knows he wouldn't last long. And his love of power suggest closets full of skeletons.

2. You think anyone would vote for him???
You need to be sort of "charming" or "likeable" to be elected, especially in this country. Rove is the nerdy-type who needs an alter ego like Bush (or what Bush was once taken for).

Although I'm sure he misses not being able to gas all those puppies.

6. The guy is a dirtbag. He dropped out of college to pursue a
career of political hacks and dirty tricks. He is the ultimate mudflinger.

He also has the personality of rattlesnake.

8. Rove's career has consisted entirely of slinging mud...
on behalf others running for office. Many people don't know he was one of the "rat-fuckers" During the Watergate era. He helped win Nixon a second term by lying about and smearing other potential candidates.

It's amazing to me Rove is not in jail. He has most certainly broken the law many times.
