A New Year’s Resolution for America

I’ve never been a fan of New Year’s Resolutions, I refuse to set artificial time tables to make improvements in my life. I’ll make improvements based on conditions on the ground, not based on politics in Washington. However, I’ll make an exception to my rule this one time. I’ve taken it upon myself to write a New Year’s resolution for America. I must admit many of the ideas were borrowed from my friends Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Hamilton, Kennedy, and Washington. Will you promise to stand beside me and keep this resolution?

A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

Whereas, We the People of the United States, want to beleive in our leaders and in turn expect our leaders to beleive in us.

Whereas, We the People of the United States, deserve a government free of corruption and behavior which undermines our democratic institutions.
