What is it? I go to IRS's site and can't find it. All they mention is an extension for Katrina Victims which is August 17?
So is it still April 16th or is it Tuesday, which I thought I heard Maddow say?

And one of the postal workers announced that the IRS was no longer accepting mailing confirmation receipts from the post office as proof that you mailed it in time. You now have to send it Certified Mail as proof that you mailed on time.

Between now and Monday night one can apply on line for extension and this year it is for 6 months. That takes it to October! Hold out if you can afford to, 6 months, and then if necessary only small payments over the next year can show your ingratitude to this bunch who have taken the nation into bankruptcy.
