Secret Service trying to clean up Abramoff's fingerprints from White House
But with the possibility that DeLay could be indicted in the Abramoff case, the Administration fears that the scandal could tarnish all Republicans and even hand the House to the Democrats. "They're worried about the Congress," an adviser said after talking to White House aides, "and they're worried about themselves."

Although DeLay's forfeiture of his leadership post makes things easier for the White House, the Abramoff saga will continue to be a problem. Bracing for the worst, Administration officials obtained from the Secret Service a list of all the times Abramoff entered the White House complex, and they scrambled to determine the reason for each visit.

Bush aides are also trying to identify all the photos that may exist of the two men together. Abramoff attended Hanukkah and holiday events at the White House, according to an aide who has seen the list. Press secretary Scott McClellan said Abramoff might have attended large gatherings with Bush but added, "The President does not know him, nor does the President recall ever meeting him."

4. Yeah, I was thinking that too. Since when does the SS get into dirty ops?
I feel sorry for those SS agents who just want to do their job, sorrier for the fuckers who go ahead with this and will hopefully face jailtime for it.

13. They do
I have first hand knowledge of that. Poppy used to send his most trusted SS hounds to harass people he didn't like.

16. Actually now that you mention it, didn't SS harass Sheehan?
I believe some SS fellows came by one night and told them to make sure they weren't too close to the road or they might get "run over". I beleive it was shortly thereafter that some NeoCon drove over the crosses that had been set up beside the road.

3. Let's have some real fun
Cross reference Abramoff's visits to the WH with Jeff Gannon's. And the Cheney energy cabal.

Now that might get some tongues a wagging.

6. It's not really the SS that is doing the dirty work
The admin just requested the list from them. It's BushCO, as usual, that is lying, hiding and obfuscating.

11. Typical -- Lies and corruption all in one breath!
"Bush aides are also trying to identify all the photos that may exist of the two men together."

If Bush is so very sure he doesn't know the man, that he has never met him, then how could there be pictures?

He can get other people in to meet Bush, he can get Bush to write letters on his behalf, but no, Bush has never met him.

Lying sacks of crap, the whole lot.

15. I get as frustrated as everyone else here when Bush gets away with
his crap. But then I think. Gosh look at how much they have had to spin and cover up just in 2005. I just have to assume its going to get worse for them rather then better. And my next thought is evetually they're going to really get caught in a lie and impeachment will be unavoidable.

Well it keeps me going atleast.
