Cheney's Bunker
Does anyone remember a few years ago when all that construction was going on under Cheney's house? That just came back to me and gave me a chill.
Was their ever any explanation for it?

5. But lately he's been hearing a tap-tapping on the floorboards
From beneath. Could it be the souls of the murdered and maimed?

It starts with a heartbeat that only he hears, growing louder and louder, then at the bathroom sink, the stains that won't wash off . . . perhaps there is peace in the bunker . . . NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

9. Never heard any
that I can remember. I used to know someone who worked at the Naval Observatory. I wish now I hadn't lost track of him so that I could shoot him an e-mail and ask if he knew anything.

13. The official explanation was...
Edited on Fri Apr-14-06 11:06 AM by Virginia Dare
to the best of my recollection that the V.P. residence was undergoing planned renovations, and the Cheneys chose to stay in their home in the VA suburbs until it was completed.

One of my relatives lives nearby and was right behind him and his s.s. detail in the grocery store one day. I wish it had been me.
